Our Goals
The Muslims at Masjid El Noor, Islamic Society of Rosarito understand that the Masjid is the cornerstone of an Islamic community and have a vision to establish a new one with Allah's help. Inshallah, a Masjid's main function is not only to be a place where Allah is worshiped five times daily. The Masjid also serves as a place of gathering and education based on the Quran and Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (P). He (P) used it to gather the Muslims to inform them about important issues and to establish a brotherhood and camaraderie. The Prophet (P) also used the Masjid to educate his community about our deen. Masjid El Noor, Islamic Society of Rosarito is striving to achieve these goals, Inshallah.
Providing Educational and Social Facilities​
Masjid El Noor, Islamic Society of Rosarito, is a non-profit Charity Trust. The Trust's primary aim is to provide a place of worship, educational and social facilities for the local Muslim community in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The Trust also aims to provide a range of culturally sensitive services for the wider communities of Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico drawing upon our Islamic values, with a view to improving quality of life and enhancing community cohesion.

Our Objectives are:

Focus on the needs of the diverse Muslim community, by the provision of a place of worship and education, whilst ensuring these services are open to all.

Provide Muslims and non-Muslims with the opportunity to learn and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction and to dispel the common misconceptions of Islam.

Meet the needs of the community by promoting spiritual, health, education and social enhancement, through policy, strategic development and services.
